About Kat Strahm
Before Kat began working at California Orthopedics & Spine, she worked as an EMT and an Emergency Department Scribe. During college, Kat found her interest in wanting to help people was overwhelming. She worked with a patient with Muscular Dystrophy throughout college but desired to be able to help people at a higher level. This led her to a career as a Physician Assistant.
Kat, originally from Marin County, moved back from North Carolina after PA school. She immediately found her home at California Orthopedics and Spine. She discovered a passion for caring for orthopedic patients, as they have one of the strongest desires to get better and get back to doing what they love. One of her favorite parts of being a PA is helping patients relieve their pain as well as spending the extra time to make sure they understand the diagnosis, cause, and various treatment options.
Kat attended UC Davis and graduated with a bachelor’s degree in Nutrition Science and a minor in Technology Management. She then attended Duke University and graduated with a master’s degree in Physician Assistant Studies. Kat began working at California Orthopedics and Spine in 2015.
Hobbies and Interests
