Shoulder and Elbow Care

Grabbing a box from a high shelf, rocking a baby in your arms, pulling an oar through water — the shoulders and elbows allow for controlled and stable arm movements. Athletes such as swimmers, pitchers, tennis players, and other individuals are more likely to experience problems with their shoulders and elbows. Our team at California Orthopedics & Spine has seen countless shoulder injuries. Whether you experience a pinched nerve, torn tendon, or full dislocation, our team can help you find a solution.

Repetitive overhead movements, such as swimming, throwing, or working in certain positions, are some of the most common causes of shoulder injuries. Some of the treatments we offer for shoulder and elbow injuries include the ones on the pages below. If you are experiencing shoulder or elbow problems, your doctor will consider nonsurgical and surgical treatment options to find the right solution for you. Our team always strives to find the least invasive, most effective form of treatment for your condition. Our orthopedic surgeons and sports medicine experts are here to help you find solutions to relieve shoulder pain and improve mobility. Contact our office for more information. One of our staff members will be happy to assist you.
